Business Overview

It is a music festival that opens up new possibilities of jazz by mixing various genres such as world music and pop with jazz as its core. In addition to musicians active in Japan, top musicians from overseas will be invited, aiming to exchange and disseminate music and culture. Yosuke Yamashita × Sugadairo (piano duo), Antonio Zambujo (Fado & Bossa Nova from Portugal) and Kazumi Nikaido with Gentle Forest Jazz Band (swing vocals & big band) performed in the big hall in the evening. In the afternoon small hall, Sholo Club (Brazilian acoustic music), Ai Kuwabara (piano), Kunikazu Tanaka + Yoshiaki Sato (saxophone & accordion), Tetsuro Kawashima (saxophone) and Mini Penguin Cafe (chamber music from UK) will perform a variety of acoustic concerts. Commentators Yo NAKAGAWA and Jin NAKAHARA led the proceedings.

Established in 1984. For more than 30 years, he has been a concert promoter who has been introducing cultures from all over the world to Japan through music. He introduces music that is not known in Japan, including Irish/Celtic, gypsy, and African music, and also conducts many exchange projects with Japan musicians. In February 2017, he was in charge of planning and producing the Arts Council Tokyo traditional performing arts promotion performance 'Celtic Noh 'Takahime''.
