The members are centered around the former chief musician of the Gakubu (Music Department), Shikibu-shoku (Board of Ceremonies) of the Imperial Household Agency, and they perform instrumental music and poetry of gagaku in four European countries. In this project, "Kagurauta," which is said to be a secret piece of gagaku, and pieces such as "Choshi" and "Jobuki," which are not usually performed on stage, are planned to be performed by combining solo and rebuki. In addition, the lecture will introduce the history of gagaku, the instruments, and the aesthetic sense and values of the Japanese handed down for more than 1300 years, including the method and form of performance.
