[Chofu City Local Performing Arts Festival Hayashi Preservation Society]
The Chofu no Matsuri Hayashi was introduced from Edo in the middle of the Meiji period and is descended from the Yamanote Hayashi and the Shitamachi Hayashi. The first tournament was held at Chofu Station South Exit Square in 1958, and the Hayashi-ren started with 8 teams, but now there are 15 teams, including the Kodomo Hayashi-ren.
