Business Overview

In Ogasawara Village, Tokyo, a remote island (There is no air route, and there is only one liner per week.) 1,000 km south of Tokyo, transportation is inconvenient, and there are few opportunities to see performed by professionals in the local community. He thought that if rakugo, a traditional performing art, could take root and spread in Ogasawara Village, it would contribute to the local community. Rakugo is a performing art that can be performed if you have a zabuton, and the performance cost is lower than that of theater or music. For this reason, they thought that it would be possible to hold a rakugo show in Ogasawara, which is a remote place and requires transportation and other expenses, and they have held rakugo shows around June every year since 2013 with the cooperation of Miyukusan SANYUTEI, a rakugo storyteller belonging to the Rakugo Kyokai Association who loves remote islands.
