Business Overview
Hengen Jizai: Hengen Jizai, which started in 2011, is a concert project by Soju Nosaka and Kazue Sawai, two koto players who are always active at the forefront of modern Japanese music. Their expressive and energetic performances are captivating and captivating many people around the country. Among them, "Hyakkafu" composed by Tadao SAWAI with koto and 17 stringed instruments is excellent and became a topic of conversation as it was broadcast on TV. To date, the project has produced five songs for the two of them. Hengen jizai 'is a play on' Hengen jizai, 'which means playing music by freely manipulating strings according to one's heart. In this program, you will be able to feel the history of the sound of the koto, from the original five-stringed koto played by Kazue Sawai, to the ordinary thirteen-stringed koto, to the low-pitched 17 stringed koto developed by Michio Miyagi, and to the 25 stringed koto developed by Misoju Nosaka, who plays it with the hope of assimilating it into the koto. Planned songs: Tewan Onna - for the five-stringed koto (composed by Yoichi SUGIYAMA), Hyakkafu with koto and 17 strings (composed by Tadao SAWAI), 20 five-stringed koto music for biwa (composed by Akira IFUKUBE), and others
