Business Overview
Kogen, one of the world's largest festivals of temples and shrines, is a hands-on event where visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture at temples and shrines. More than 100 workshops will be held, and although it is a large-scale festival that attracts more than 10,000 people, it offers an experience that reaches each person's mind and body. There will also be talk shows and live performances for large audiences. In particular, it is very rare in the world that a religious person himself plans a musical performance of a religious sect or religion.

Profile
[Hongyuan Executive Committee]
The planning of Hongyuan is made by volunteer staff. In addition to guidance and reception on the day, planning, administration, clerical work, and accounting are all managed by more than 400 volunteers gathered through the website and word of mouth. Masaomi TOMOMITSU (Tendai sect), the representative, and Kakuho AOE (Jodo Shinshu sect), the deputy representative, are both young priests in their thirties, but the number of volunteers who agree with the philosophy of Kogen from a wide range of fields, including Noh actors, people involved in traditional crafts, organizations running traditional businesses, and ordinary company employees, has been increasing each time.
