Business Overview
Dance company Baobab's 10th solo performance. This work focuses on the distance and relationship with street dance, and challenges the creation of a work that discovers new physical expressions and examines differences. By reducing the number of performers and arranging the scenes, the aim is to adapt the performance to different venues, while keeping the essence of the work intact. We will strengthen our touring system to be able to withstand overseas performances, including the inspiration that can be obtained from each place.

【Baobab】
The director, Wataru Kitao, choreographed, composed and directed all the works, and together with Fuyuko Mezawa (producer and dancer) and Saori Yoneda (dancer), the project is planned and operated. For each production, they recruit people who transcend the boundaries of dancers and actors, and they make everyone dance regardless of whether they have experience or are good or bad at it. It is characterized by indigenous original choreography that is not bound by existing genres.
