2015 Social Support Grants through Arts and Culture

Business Overview

The "Hospital Theater Project" provides theatrical experiences for children who are unable to enjoy performing arts at theaters due to disabilities or illness. The project aims to arouse curiosity and imagination and provide social and aesthetic experiences. By eliminating the separation between the stage and the audience, which tends to alienate children, we will create participatory performances assuming that children who cannot stand still can jump onto the stage. In addition to performing services for children with disabilities, we will hold an open day for children with disabilities, their families, caregivers, researchers, and theater people at a school building of Hosen University for Children's Education. The theme of the 2015 work is "Fairy Land."
