Business Overview

It has been 5 years since Co. Yamada Un first performed the ensemble dance work "Seasonal no Machi" in 2012, and together with the company dancers who have increased their physical abilities since the beginning and are now able to better understand and share the intention of the choreographer, the work has been revised again and will be presented to a wider audience. It is based on Yamamoto Shugoro's identically titled novel "Seasonal Town," which is also known as the basis for the Kurosawa movie "Dodeskaden." Drama overflowing with joy and sorrow about laborers living in a fictitious shantytown. Co. Yamada Unpan uses Beethoven's Ninth Symphony as the musical theme throughout the book. With the dance company <Co. Yamada Yeah> (established in 2002) as her main focus, she produces works and performs on stage all over the world including Japan, Asia, Middle East and Europe as a choreographer and dancer. He also collaborates with music, art, academia, and traditional arts, choreographes rhythmic gymnasts, and teaches theater and opera movements. Won the 8th Japan Dance Forum Grand Prize. He received the new face award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in the 65 Art Encouragement Dance Category. In 2016, he was appointed as the Cultural Exchange Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
