Business Overview

Nohgaku has been preserved and polished by actors of the times for more than 650 years, and was recognized by UNESCO for the first time as a 'Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity' in 2001. This is the 13th performance held as "UNESCO Memorial Noh" to hand down this precious asset to future generations. Each part is a tachiai style in which all of the five schools of shite-kata perform. In the afternoon part, each school performs the same program to enjoy the differences in their styles, and in the evening part, they perform the "Itokyume Goryu-tachiai" (Tachiai with the five schools of shite-kata), in which you can enjoy the original charm of Noh with the selection of songs based on god, otoko, onna, madness, and oni (five groups of Noh).
