Business Overview
Art Butte Tachikawa 2015 will exhibit 63 works at the Isetan Tachikawa Special Room and Gallery Square from October 14 to 18th. On October 17, art director Mizue Kobayashi will give a gallery talk and paper clay artist Kohei Hayashi will perform. Art Brut by people with disabilities moves viewers because they create with all their creativity. By getting more people to see it, we can make them feel the "possibility of expression" and "the endless creative power of people" that everyone has. The executive committee is composed of citizens. In addition to many companies, organizations, and individuals who support the purpose of this association, the government, the Social Cooperative Association, and the Isetan Tachikawa store are co-sponsoring the first Art Billut exhibition in the Tama area. I am convinced that this project will be an opportunity for people with disabilities to participate in society.

Art Brut Tachikawa Executive Committee
The Art Brut Tachikawa Executive Committee will be established on February 1, 2015. He is engaged in activities to promote Art Brut (a work created by a person who has not received formal art education using his or her own methods and ideas). It is a civic group mainly composed of people who live and work in Tachikawa City. Members consist of officers (Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary-General, Accounting, Accounting Audit), committee members and advisors. Art Brut Tachikawa 2015 will feature works by people with disabilities.
