[NPO International Performing Arts Center (PARC)]
The Center was established in December 1990, taking over the secretariat of the Pacific Rim Performing Arts Conference, which was held in November 1990. Certified as a specified non-profit organization in fiscal 2002. The purpose of this program is to support the promotion of arts and culture and activities for that purpose, and thereby contribute to the improvement of the interests of society as a whole, by organizing basic data on the performing arts, building information and human networks related to the arts, introducing unique arts from around the world to Japan and overseas, creating and expanding artistic expression, and promoting international exchange and regional revitalization centered on the performing arts.
