Business Overview
"Troll no Mori" is an international contemporary art exhibition held in the area between JR Nishi-Ogikubo and Tokyo Metropolitan Zenpukuji Park. This year marks the 15 year anniversary of the exhibition. The open-air exhibition at Zenpuku-ji Park will feature exhibitions and performances of works while enjoying the changing seasons, and the Nishiogi City Exhibition will be held in a variety of genres, with the aim of further accelerating the appeal of the popular city of Nishiogi. ● Outdoor Art Exhibition: Exhibition of works by 18 groups including Shoko Miki, Noboru Kurita, and Almut Rink. ● Body Expression Works: Performances by 10 groups including Koji Otsubo (dance) and Sawako Hiraiwa (live). ● Workshops and Cafes: Workshops held by dance groups and a special café set up. ● Town Art Exhibition: Exhibition of works on the street “Momoshino Odekake Troll, ” an exhibition of works created by overseas artists at the Art in Residence, an exhibition of works at a café by the Joshibi University of Art and Design Sculpture Group. ● Performances: Performance dance performances by Yoshimichi Takei and early adopters at a billiard hall. ● Planned Events: Nishi-Ogi Town Walk around an underground conduit by Sei Yoshimura and others,“ 0 Yen Uniform Zenpukuji Shopping Street ” where unwanted goods are sold for 0 yen, etc.

[Troll Forest Executive Committee]
The Troll Forest Executive Committee is an organization composed of participating artists, local galleries, activity groups, elementary schools and their support organizations. The project aims to provide a venue for the presentation of contemporary art works, promote understanding of art among local residents, foster interest in art among children and young people and their desire to express themselves, create a new town network through contemporary art, and revitalize the town through projects.
