Business Overview

The Great East Japan Earthquake caused deep cracks in our daily lives and had a great impact on cultural activities in general. There was an unbridgeable difference in the quality of the human experience between Tokyo, where days seemed to be peaceful, and the devastated areas, which were scarred by the tsunami and were unable to return home due to the disaster and the nuclear accident. In the face of a reality in which various contradictions in Japanese society are exposed and people are divided, a collection of essays will be published and a forum will be held on the theme of what theater can do.
