Business Overview
The international video and digital art festival "VIDEOFORMES" has been held annually in Clermont-Ferrand, France since 1986. In 2016, Art Vane Tokyo will hold the “JAPANESE VIDEO ART PRESENCE” program, which includes live performances, installations, video screenings and lectures, and workshops on traditional Japanese culture. The live performance "Requiem Dance" by Hiroshi Nakajima is a collaboration with local residents, musicians and dancers, and the live performance "Come and Go" by Kentaro Taki is also set in the town of Clermont-Ferrand. Three, a light installation by French artists Christophe Charles, Motoka Niina and Naoko Matsuo who are also active in Japan, and a children's workshop to create a traditional Japanese lantern, will introduce new and old Japanese video art throughout the program.

Profile
【 Art Vane Tokyo 】
It is an artist team that invigorates the fields of art and society by approaching media art from the poles of "modern" and "past". They go back and forth between the tip and the root by following the vein (water line), and communicate the intersection of the two to the world through works and workshops. From 2015 to 16, we will propose that the beginning of projection art in Japan was "Edo-Shaashie," and exhibit "Traditional Culture Workshop x Projection Art" in various places.
