Business Overview
It plans and manages exhibitions and related events with the aim of opening the photographic works and archives of Mitsuri HANAGA to the public. More than 30,000 photos of avant-garde art, underground theater, events, pollution issues, student movements, dances, commune activities, etc. will be organized and published as an archive. The aim is not only to serve as an archive of Mitoshi HANAGA, but also to disseminate to the world valuable records of the Tokyo art scene and underground cultural and artistic activities from the 1960s to the 1980s, as well as contemporary avant-garde materials.

Profile
[Mitoshi HANAGA]
Born in Tokyo in 1933. He published social and avant-garde expressions and acts in general photography and art magazines. Exhibited at the Avignon Festival in 1982. By 1983, he had toured 15 cities in France. He also held a photo exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 1984, held a solo exhibition at UNESCO Paris headquarters. It has been highly praised internationally, including being invited to the video section of the Venice Biennale. He died in December 1999.
