Business Overview

Concerts and workshops will be held in Myanmar and Thailand as part of the "Chestnut Coder & Friends Asian 6 Countries Music & Art Co-Production Project" to create new expressions and promote cultural understanding and exchange through collaborations with artists from Southeast Asian countries, and to let Southeast Asian children know the joy of playing musical instruments. The concert by the Chestnut Coder Quartet and Beautiful Hummingbird will feature a wide range of music from original songs to old Japanese songs. In Myanmar, she will perform with the leading young Myanmar harp Su Zar Zar. In addition, Minoru Yoshizawa, one of Japan's leading recorder players, will hold a workshop for instructors. This will be a valuable opportunity for local music educators.

Profile

[Chestnut Coder Quartet]
Established in 1994. The current members are Masami KURIHARA, Yoshiyuki KAWAGUCHI and Takeo SEKISHIMA. Each of them is a composer and a performer. He is also familiar with the cover of Star Wars "March of the Empire" and NHK E TV "Pythagora Switch". He has produced more than 100 CDs, including songs for movies, television and commercials. With a wide variety of guests, they perform more than 100 concerts in Japan and overseas, including concert halls, and are welcomed by people of all ages. In 2014, they released the best CD of 2 discs "20 year anniversary best" which overlooks 20 years, and held the 20 year anniversary concert at Shibuya Public Hall.
