Composition, Direction, Art, Performance: Gianluca Di Matio "GO!" Composition, Direction, Art, Performance: Polina Borisova The Italian Plutinera is the founder of European puppetry. Gianluca Di Matio, a leading figure in puppetry, and Polina Borisova, an up-and-coming artist whose activities are not bound by the existing framework of puppetry, will be invited consecutively to deepen the deductive consideration of modern times from the tradition of puppetry. In addition, in the field of theatre education, we hold lectures and workshops in cooperation with leading international artists and universities. It is appropriate to deepen the research of performers themselves and the research of education, and it is an initiative that leads to the acquisition of a new audience. This time, the town of Oshima expressed its desire for exchange between high school students and foreign artists. International exchange with young people with a future will broaden the base of artistic creation and create an environment for art appreciation equivalent to that of the disaster-stricken Izu-Oshima Island.

Puke Puppet Theater Co., Ltd.
In 1971, as a 40 year anniversary project for the Puppet Theater Company Puke, the company established the first permanent theater dedicated to puppetry in Japan. Since then, he has been in charge of theater management and theater planning and production for the puppet theater troupe Puke.
This is a place for puppet theater group Puke to create a stage, while cooperating in the development and preservation of other specialty puppet theater groups and traditional puppet theater, and promoting international exchange of puppet theater. Its purpose is to promote collaboration with all theatrical and cultural activities and to promote the creation and dissemination of modern puppetry art, including international activities.
