Business Overview

This performance is commissioned by the digital art center Goeterilic in Paris to perform the stage work "How to Count Correctly" by artist Yuichi Kishino and vocalist/organist John (dog). It was performed on June 7, 2015 as part of a performance within the "Capitaine futur," which runs an art programme for children. The puppet show is projected from the camera on the stage to the screen in real time, and the real people on the stage and the characters of the puppet show come and go in a nested style. The story is simple: the protagonist gets lost in a different culture and is taught how to count by a costumed dog. This is an experiential work in which the movements of the body created by call-and-response with the children in the audience are reflected interactively on the stage screen, allowing the audience to participate in the work themselves.
