Business Overview
Asukayama Takigi-noh, which was started in October 2003 by the late Nohgakushi Kunya Kimura, who lives in Tabata, with the intention of "giving back to Kita Ward, where I grew up, through noh," will celebrate its 13 th performance. The setting with bonfires and Japanese candles in the scenery that makes you feel nature and history invites you to a world of obscurity. The event was held in 2003 for the 400 first time by the late Mr. Kunya Kimura, who was a member of the Association for Japanese Noh Plays and a general holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property of Noh. Since the fourth performance, volunteers from local town associations, shopping districts, and companies have carried on Kimura's wishes as an executive committee. The performance will be attended by leading Japanese Noh actors including Mansaku NOMURA and Genshoshi UMEWAKA.
