Business Overview

In addition to exhibitions, the Hara Museum of Art holds events such as performances to widely introduce diversified modern art. This time, three male dancers and choreographers who are the core members of The Forsyth Company will perform contemporary dance. Yasutake Shimaji, whose rich ideas and expressive abilities are expected to increase in popularity, along with Amancio Gonzalez and Josh Johnson, who are drawing attention from Shimaji, spent about a month in Japan producing new works at the Hara Museum of Art.

Profile

[Yasutake SHIMAJI] Born in Nagano Prefecture. She entered the acting course of the drama department of the Faculty of Art, Nihon University, and studied under Miyako KATO. After appearing as a freelancer in a number of works including those by Kota Yamazaki, he joined Noism led by Minoru Kanamori and danced the main part. He has been a key member of The Forsyth Company since 2006. In 2013, she started the unit "Altonoi" with Hanato Sakai and released "March Trio" and others. He became a member of Shiseido Tsubakikai in April 2015. He started his activities based in Kamakura in July.
