Business Overview
Many musicians from Japan and overseas are invited to perform impromptu music for seven hours each day for two days. On both days, about 8 groups of duos, trios and larger ensembles will perform for 30 to 40 minutes each. In addition to Japanese musicians, there will be musicians from Britain, Germany, Austria, France, China, Korea and Singapore, and the total number of performers will be around 50. The instruments used by each performer range from conventional acoustic instruments, to computers, electronics, and home-made instruments, from which various performances are created. Two days to witness the forefront of contemporary improvisational music.

Profile
In April 2008, the first Ftarri Festival was held at Super Deluxe in Tokyo and Avant Guild in Kyoto. In September 2010, they held Ftarri Doubt music Festival in Tokyo "Super Deluxe" in cooperation with doubtmusic label. In August 2012, he opened the CD shop Ftarri in Suidobashi, Tokyo, and has been holding improvisation concerts on a regular basis.
