Business Overview
To commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the founding of the Japan Musical Association, which is comprised of 3,400 classical musicians from all over the country, a series of concerts will be held featuring works by 30 Japanese composers who have led our country's music industry from its earliest days to the present. By concentrating on the works of Japanese composers, which Japan is proud of, the concert aims to be a bridge to the future music world following the footsteps of our country. ・ Evening 1: Commemorating 50 years since the deaths of "Kosaku Yamada" and "Kiyoshi Nobutoki" ~ Special feature on 2 great Japanese music masters who lived through the tumultuous Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods ~ ・ Evening 2: Song Day Tracing the history of Japanese music ~ The path of music from "Rentaro TAKI" to "Hikaru RIN" ~ ・ Evening 3: Piano Day ~ Top 10 Japanese piano works ~ ・ Evening 4: Instrumental music day ~ Once more the thrill of the first performance ~ ・ Evening 5: Chorus day ~ Best selection of post-war choral music ~ ・ Last: Chamber opera day "Kurozuka" and "Story of three women" ~ Collaboration work of opera and Noh kyogen

Profile
It was founded in July 1965 by 879 classical musicians. Up to now, leading musicians such as Motonari Iguchi, Kazuko Yasukawa and Kyoko Ito have served as chairpersons of the board of directors, and have been involved in a wide range of activities to improve the status of the music world as a whole, including the training of young musicians, the collection of classical music-related data, the protection of neighboring rights, and the expansion of national and local budgets for arts and culture. In June 2015, Tsutsumi Tsuyoshi, a cellist, became the new president.
