Business Overview
An introduction to Japanese traditional culture called shigin. The singularity and meaning of the act of "composing" a classical poem in a loud voice will be explained through demonstrations and workshops. In addition, by reciting poems (Chinese poems, waka poems, haiku poems, etc.) in shigin suitable for the daily lives, seasons, and events of the participants living in the present, and in suitable places, the participants connect the classics with the present, and experience the substance and universality of traditional culture. Furthermore, by distributing overseas performances and videos with subtitles for overseas audiences in preparation for those performances on the Internet, the project aims to be widely recognized both in Japan and overseas, and to make the act of "sharing classical poetry aloud" useful for emotional education and the formation of a new multicultural and multi-ethnic community, regardless of national borders or races.
