Profile
[KENTARO!!]
Born in 1980. Although it is based on HIPHOP techniques, it is a practice of original expression which is far from existing stylized ones. As for his recent style, he is a narrative dance that is loosely synchronized with his original sound source and interweaves meaningful and meaningless elements.
Received "French Embassy Award for Young Choreographers" at Yokohama Dance Collection R in 2008 and "Audience Award & Next Stage Special Award" at Toyota Choreography Award 2008. In 2010, he received the Japan Dance Forum Award.
There have been many invitations from overseas. He energetically transmits his thoughts and dances.
He has been a Saison Junior Fellow Artist since 2010.
