Profile

[Bed & Makings]
A theatrical company founded in February 2012 by screenwriter and director Fukuhara Mitsunori and actor Tomioka Koichiro. With the theme of "philosophy that even a monkey can understand," they are a pair of shy idealists who stand up to make life easier in a world full of contradictions. The name of the troupe means "bed" (theater) and "making." With a strong focus on giving life to the theater or setting up plays outside the theater, he has performed in warehouses and outdoors. The consistent theme of his work is "the restoration of imagination."
