Business Overview
"Contemporary Dance Showcase JAPAN+EAST ASIA" is one of the valuable opportunities to appeal to American audiences the diverse characteristics of Asian contemporary dance and the evolving Asian stage art by gathering works from Korea and Taiwan, with an awareness of Japan in Asia. This time, works will be performed by "enra" who was active in the 2020 Olympic bid, "Mikiko Kawamura" who is young but actively expanding her activities, and "Kaori Seki PUNCTUMUN" led by Kaori Seki who won the "Choreographer of the Next Generation Award" at the Toyota Choreography Award 2012. He is involved in producing performances and workshops such as Ito Kim + Shining Future. Since 2000, he has been planning and producing the Asahi Breweries special sponsorship project "Art Nova" four times a year and the "Next Next" sponsored by the Saison Cultural Foundation. Since 2001, he has been planning and producing the "TOYOTA CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD", and since 2001, he has held dance workshops at schools on remote islands in Tokyo Culture Creation Project. In addition, he manages and plans and produces contemporary dance.
