Business Overview

A play published in 1978 by British playwright Harold Pinter, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2005. This play has a structure in which time in the play goes backwards as the play progresses. The content of the story is an adulterous affair between three men and women, but the various devices that Pinter places on top of this structure make viewers realize how uncertain our perception of reality is. 前身は演劇プロデュースユニット「阿佐ヶ谷スパイダース」の制作部。2004年6月に法人格を取得し俳優マネジメント部を設立、「阿佐ヶ谷スパイダース」以外の演劇公演のプロデュースや制作も積極的に展開している。2014年現在、「阿佐ヶ谷スパイダース」「葛河思潮社」「柿喰う客」「テアトル・ド・アナール」等の劇団・ユニットの公演を制作している。

劇作家・演出家の長塚圭史が演劇のさらなる可能性を探るべく2011年に立ち上げたソロプロジェクト。自身の脚本を演出するというスタイルにこだわらず、日本の既存の戯曲や海外からの翻訳戯曲、さらには原作小説からの戯曲化など、あらゆる素材から演劇作品を創り出していく。また、ワークショップやリーディングといった手法を創作のプロセスに積極的に取り入れ、長期的な視点に根差した作品創りを志向する。さらには地域公演などにも積極的に取り組み、常に刺激的な作品を広く発信していく場にすることを目指している。
