FY26 Term I Creation Grant [Single-Year Grant Program]

Business Overview
The Celtic blues band Hamonica Creams went on a European festival tour in the summer of 2013 after being invited to the 150,000 strong Celtic Music Festival. In 2014, they will perform a concert and workshop tour (4 performances in 3 cities/2 workshops) at a music festival held in Asturias, Galicia, which is a Celtic cultural area in Spain. At the same time, more substantial plans than the previous year are underway, including recording and music production with top musicians from Spain, Ireland, and Scotland who are leading the world in Celtic music. This performance conveys to Europe and the United States the high artistic quality and rich sensibility of the modern Japanese, which continues to advance, and will build a new relationship between European and Japanese culture in the future. ● Performers: 4 members of Hamonica Creams (Kiyono Mito, Obuchi Aiko, Nagao Koji, Tanaka Yuji)
