Business Overview
Tokyo Shutter Girl (based on Kenichi Kiriki) is a manga serialized in the weekly manga Goraku magazine. Based on the original manga, the theme is camera, photography, walking around town, etc., and this project expresses and creates in a multidisciplinary way such as photo exhibition and film adaptation (photo exhibition has been held twice so far). About 30 photographers selected from the general public expressed their works freely using the stage motif of the manga. The past photo exhibitions have attracted attention by being featured in traveling exhibitions and camera magazines, and the e-book (kindle version) containing the exhibited works ranked in the top4 bestsellers on Amazon. The film "Tokyo Shutter Girl" is produced by author Kiriki Kenichi, and three directors create their own story as three omnibus films set in Tokyo. Released nationwide sequentially from October 2013. [Kenichi Kiriki]
Manga artist. Born in 1976. He was born in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Hagi City Furusato Ambassador. In 1991, he won the Weekly Shonen Jump Hop Step Award. In 1992, he won the Shueisha Akatsuka Prize as a second prize winner.
In 2011, she began serializing "Tokyo Shutter Girl" in the weekly manga Goraku magazine. He worked as a producer for manga related photo exhibitions and film adaptations.
