This is the first performance to transmit a new choral art while inheriting what has been built together with Mr. Hikaru Hayashi. This time, Rikuya Terashima, who has been participating in piano and conducting until last year, will be invited as conductor. In addition to the traditional “Small Scenery of the Atomic Bomb, ” Mr. Terashima's most recent masterpiece,“ Furusato no Kaze ni, ” composed in 2005, will be featured. The poet Kozo Takeuchi was killed in action in the Philippines at the age of 23. The world of young people captured with strong sensitivity is expressed in timeless words. This time, he will add another piece composed by Mr. Terashima to this suite and perform it as a new chorus suite.
