Business Overview

Since 2000, a concert of works has been held approximately once a year, and this is the 11th time, with a large number of works, the concert will be more varied than ever. In the first section, each member of the group asks for a title at his or her own discretion, and works that come up with ideas are displayed. Last year marked 1300 years since the compilation of the Kojiki, and the second part will introduce the audience to the present and future of creative Japanese music by performing works based on the Kojiki.

[Creation of Japan 21]
In 1964, the Sosaku Hogaku Kenkyukai (Creative Japanese Music Study Group), led by Chojuro Imado III, began activities that transcended schools and generations. He made great achievements over 10 years. In 1996, at the invitation of Seitaro IMADO and Joko KINEYA, who had experienced the association, those who had the desire to create music from various genres of the Japanese music world gathered and held a study meeting. In 1997, it was officially established as' Soho 21 'with 13 Dojin members. The Literature Department was established. After that, study meetings and trial performances were held repeatedly. In 2000, he held his first concert at Nihonbashi Public Hall. After that, he held a concert almost once a year.
