[Agora Planning Co., Ltd.]
Established Komaba Agora Theater in July 1984. In 1986, he supported the production department of Seinendan, and Komaba Agora Theater became a franchise theater of Seinendan. Since 1989, he has invited theater troupes from all over the country to hold the Great End of the Century Theater Exhibition. A new festival summit has been held since 2001. In the 2003 academic year, the theater shifted to a new system in which all performances are produced by the theater.
[Youth Group]
Formed in 11, 1982, led by Oriza Hirata. So far, he has produced 46 main performances and 11 produced performances, as well as youth group linked performances and young independent performances. Based at Komaba Agora Theater, they have performed in local areas every year since 1991. Their first overseas performance was in Korea in 1993. Since then, he has performed in Korea (with Korean subtitles) in 1999, toured in 4 cities in North America (with English subtitles) in 2000, toured in 5 cities in Europe (all performances with subtitles in English, Italian and French) in 2002, toured in 7 cities in North America for "Yalta Kaigi/Chushingura (The Treasury of Loyal Retainers)," toured in 3 cities in Southeast Asia in 2006, and performed in Europe for 5 consecutive years since 2006 centering on the popular program "Tokyo Note". His quiet and precise stage production using unique staging methods has been highly praised both at home and abroad. In addition, international co-productions with foreign artists, such as "Wakare no Uta" (Farewell Song) in 2007, have been successful since they deepened their exchanges through overseas performances, presenting unprecedented collaborations. In fiscal 2010, he re-performed "Tokyo Notebook" in 3 languages with actors from Japan, China and Korea, and performed the first robot theater performance in Tokyo.
