Business Overview
'Canto ostinato for 2 pianos' composed by Simion ten Holt (1976-79) will be performed with Tomoko Mukaiyama and Hibiki Tamura on the piano and lighting design by Jean Kalman (Japan premiere). There will also be a screening with English subtitles of "About CANTO," a documentary film about the song released in the Netherlands last 2011. "Multus" is a series supervised by artist and musician Tomoko Mukaiyama, and this is the first in its series. This series produces a new art that crosses "music" (spending time together) and "art" (visual elements that become a source of support) by using a repertoire of two, four, and six pianos that has not been introduced much in Japan.
