Business Overview

Manyoshu is Japan's oldest anthology of poetry, created at a time when Japan was connected to Asia and had no cultural borders. Based on the theme of the Manyoshu, "Manyogaku," a dance and dance drama composed of recitations, songs and masked dances, will be performed in Seoul and Shanghai, incorporating "shingigaku," a reproduction of Japan's oldest performing art, gigaku, which came to Japan from the Silk Road.

It provides performing arts such as gigaku, gagaku, dengaku, nohgaku, and hogaku in various forms such as performances, workshops, general participation, and classes at schools. It develops activities to convey the "Japanese spirit" to the future by creating a place where people of all ages can enjoy from encounters with performing arts.
