Business Overview
Asukayama Takigi-noh has established itself as an annual Takigi-noh performance in Tokyo featuring top Noh actors, and this is the 10th annual performance. It features a fantastic and ethereal atmosphere with bonfires and candles placed on a Noh stage with stone walls, bamboo groves and real pine trees in the Asukayama performance. Shimai, 'Toru,' Yaemon YAMASHINA Kyogen, 'Suminuri,' Mansaku NOMURA, Mansai NOMURA, and others, Noh, 'Ishibashi,' Yoshinobu KANZE, and others.

[Asukayama Takigi-Noh Executive Committee]
The event was held in 2003 for the 400 first time by the late Mr. Kunya KIMURA, who was a member of the Association for Japanese Noh Plays and the general holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Property of Noh. Since the fourth performance, volunteers from local town associations, shopping districts, and companies have carried on the wishes of Mr. Kunya KIMURA as an executive committee. Performances include Mansaku NOMURA, Genshoshi UMEWAKA and other leading Japanese Noh actors.
