Amemiya Yosuke Exhibition: Watarium Museum

This exhibition shows the artist Yosuke Amemiya's activities from the beginning to the present. Starting with works from the beginning of 2000, the exhibition will include "a trivial stone carried around for 1300 years" and documentary footage of “Ishinomaki 13 Minutes ”, and papers from“ The Melted Apple Sculpture ”. Furthermore, the latest works will include VR that will be filmed at the Watarium Museum during this exhibition period, offering new art experiences such as "speak to," “Painting Images with Paint ”, and“ Elements of Songs, Instruments and Dance ”.

Profile
Amemiya Yosuke
Lives and works in Yamanashi Prefecture. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1975. Graduated from the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam in 2013. After that, he moved to Berlin, where he was based for about 10 years. In 2022, he returned from Europe and now lives in Yamanashi Prefecture. He creates works in a wide range of mediums including drawing, sculpture and performance.
