Profile

【Shogirls】
Reimi Miura, Kazue Tajima, and Hanako Nakamura formed this group in 2011 with the aim of communicating the appeal and potential of the sho. The concert series "Hibikai" has been held every year since 2012. He has received a good reputation for the unparalleled sound of the Sho, a gagaku instrument, by commissioning and premiering modern pieces that are rarely performed, classical pieces that can be heard only with the Sho, and new works by a Sho trio.
He has performed at Tokyo Concerts Lab's "Wa-bi Series," Komae Ekorma Hall's "Sho - Yukyu no Chirin," Kyu Shinbashi Teishajo Concert, Muza Kawasaki Lunchtime Concert, and Japan Contemporary Music Association's "Pegasus Concert."
