Business Overview

The Japan Shakuhachi Performers Network (JSPN) has been invited to 'World Shakuhachi Festival Texas 2025' to perform, give lectures, give lessons and give outreach performances.
There were four concerts on the main stage and six smaller concerts. Members of the JSPN performed at all of the concerts, but the main concert on the second day of the festival was produced by the JSPN, and a wide variety of programs including works commissioned by the JSPN were organized to express the activities of the JSPN.

An organization to which only professional shakuhachi performers in Japan belong. The shakuhachi is now recognized as a global instrument, and its worldwide activities have been remarkable in recent years.
JSPN was established in 2018 with the main purpose of "To raise the value of shakuhachi music and shakuhachi players and contribute to the development and spread of Japanese culture." in the hope that it would further spread to the world and stimulate the shakuhachi world. In 2022, it became a general incorporated association and continues its activities.
