Translation and talk sessions for the creation of a Japanese version of the Theater Green Book

Business Overview
With the aim of promoting and disseminating sustainable stage production in Japan, Image Nation Green has translated the Theatre Green Book, a practical guideline for environmental considerations in the performing arts published in the UK in 2021, into Japanese.
The translation was handled by a professional performing arts practitioner, who carefully understood the differences between Japanese and English situations regarding technical terms related to the performing arts and the environment. It was supervised by experts from the perspective of performing arts and theater management, and completed as an accurate translation that can be widely understood and practiced by Japanese performing arts professionals.
We also created a dedicated website to organize the content and publish it as easy-to-understand information that anyone can download for free. In conjunction with the launch, a presentation and talk session were held with the help of the British Council. A case study of the system in the United Kingdom was introduced, and the supervisors discussed the possibility of future use of the system and held an exchange meeting with participants. The event was archived on YouTube.
