Room Kids new show "To Route Directory"
Business Overview
Room Kids, a modern circus company, held a modern circus performance in August 2025 in cooperation with Theater Tram, a theater in Setagaya Ward. The cast includes media artist and juggler Akiki Okamoto, Room Kids' Masahiro Sekiya and Takamasa Yamada.
By capturing the trajectory of the juggling ball and the movement of the body, and using CG images generated in real time to produce a strong sense of "the movement of energy between objects and the body," and by presenting an image of a person interacting with "objects," such as an old chair or an electric fan, it is possible to convey that such objects also have something like a soul. By using the means and viewpoint of juggling, I aimed to create a work that makes people feel various invisible connections.
