This is the 10th performance of the Salme Company that adapts the masterpiece directed by master artist Kon Ichikawa based on Natsuju Wada's original script as the "Salme version".
Using the space of a small theater in a completely new way, live music was effectively inserted to express the busyness of TV stations in the Showa period.
As an original element not found in the original work, a long line was added at the beginning of Act 2 in which the women in the sixth to ninth chapters each reveal their circumstances and feelings for Matsuyoshi. By adding a phone conversation with Saburo, who decides to commit suicide, towards the end of the story, and by focusing on these women, whose backbones are not often discussed, the film has transformed itself into a story in which, as the title suggests, the ten women are the main characters.

Established in November 2017. Since its first performance in 2018, the company has been sponsoring performances 2 times a year, and in 2019, it was the runner-up (5th place) in the Young Directors Contest sponsored by the Japan Directors Association. At the Sakichi Sato Drama Award 2021, he received 6 awards including the Best Director Award.
In 2023, he was selected as one of the up-and-coming troupe members of the Japan Association of Theater Companies' "Project to Nurture Japanese Theater Professionals," and performed Fukuda Yoshiyuki's latest work, "Bunmei Kaika Yotsuya Kaidan.".
In July 2024, he teamed up with Happinet Media Marketing to perform a special performance by Salme Company to commemorate the 70 year anniversary of the serial publication of Hinotori, "Sarume version Hinotori - Phoenix version".
In April 2025, the Salme Company × Clione produced "12 Adjutants of Hitler".
The theater company is characterized by live performances of all works, and attempts to create works in which theater and music coexist, such as performances in which all cast members play musical instruments and collaborative performances with professional artists.
