The 8th Hachioji Yabusame

Business Overview
Yabusame, a traditional event from ancient Japan, is a rare event where you can experience the powerful martial arts of a man and a horse at close quarters. You can feel the atmosphere of the period from the gorgeous costumes of archers and the solemn warrior procession, and you can also experience the beauty and tension of Japanese martial arts during the drawing of swords. In a separate venue, you can actually ride a horse and get a deeper understanding of the world of yabusame by interacting with the horses. The square is lined with food and drinks and mock stalls, and you can enjoy it throughout the day. This event allows not only local residents but also visitors from overseas to fully experience the charm and power of Japan's ancient culture.
