Business Overview

Two mathematicians, G.H. Hardy and John E. Littlewood of Trinity college, Cambridge try to solve the Riemann hypothesis, seeking universal truth within the equations. But their ideals are torn apart by the demands of their country, the devastation of war, and their inner conflict. In 1977, Ann, Littlewood’s daughter, works at a psychiatric hospital. One day, a young patient named Beryl obsessively repeats the number "4687961". This mysterious number unlocks fragments of the past, connecting Ann to her father's history and his friendship with Hardy. Spanning across time, this is a story that follows the intertwined paths of those who reached for "truth" and the lasting echoes left behind.

Profile

[Haiyuza Theatre Company]
On February 10th, 1944, Haiyuza Theatre Company was established and led Japan’s theater revival during the post-war cultural turmoil. For more than half a century since then, the company has continued to work extensively with high ideals and the aim of taking the right path in theater. The Actors' Theater is a group that tries to create a new theatrical expression of today's reality in an original fun, deep, rich, and human way. And for this purpose, all members of the theater company are to take full responsibility for creation, research, self-training, and the maintenance and operation of the company.
