New opera "Onmyoji"

The new opera "Onmyoji" written by Baku YUMEMAKURA and libretto and composed by Makiko KINOSHITA was first performed at the commission of the Tokyo Chamber Opera House.
Conducted by Erina SUZUKI, directed by Hidenori Hisatsune, with Masaya FUSE and Kohei KAWADE playing the leading roles of Abe no Seimei, Hideki MATAYOSHI and Asahi KATAKURA playing the roles of Minamoto no Hiromasa, Misako BEPPU and Koe AZUMA playing the roles of Kaoru SHIKIGAMI, Chizuru MITSUHASHI and Sachiko OTSU playing the roles of the headless couple and their wife, Kentaro SHIMIZU and Go KURIHARA playing the roles of the headless couple and their husband, Mayuko SUZUKI playing the role of Tokuko, Sa ENDO 1000. In addition to 16 members of the cast (double cast), Ikutaro NAKAGAWA and Taira KANAZAWA playing the roles of the chief priest of Kifune Shrine, Yuya NAKAMURA playing the role of FUJIWARA no Tameyoshi, and Takumi TORIO, 16 members of the chorus participated, and the orchestra was performed by Ensemble Nomad.

[Tokyo Chamber Opera House]
The Tokyo Chamber Opera House was established on June 3, 2013, from the parent organization of the Tokyo Chamber Opera House (established in 1969), a voluntary organization that aims to contribute to the promotion of opera in our country by pursuing the possibilities of today's theater music art through "chamber opera." In addition to opera and concert performances, the company also holds culture classes and various seminars, and performs concert production contracting.
Currently, there are about 270 members of the vocal, instrumental, conductor and literary club.
