Business Overview

In 2024, the composer Yuasa Joji turned 95. However, Yuasa died on July 21 before his birthday (August 12, when the chorus performance was scheduled). Unfortunately, this is a memorial performance. In particular, the chamber music performance was intended to give young and mid-career musicians who will lead the next generation an opportunity to experience Yuasa's performance, but unfortunately, Yuasa was unable to comment on the performance through recordings or videos. However, by listening to the electronic music that directly reflected Yuasa's orientation and reading the graphs (Many of Yuasa's works are conceived as graphs on grid paper.) written in the process of creating the music, I think that I was able to express the essence of the music of Yuasa's work, which cannot be understood simply by reading the published staff score.
In the solo exhibition of choral works, many of the works were composed of poems by Shuntaro Tanigawa. Joji YUASA, one of the most important collaborators for Shuntaro TANIGAWA, dedicated a poem to Yuasa ('Mutsuken to Sekai Joji YUASA ni' ('Yono Mickey Mouse Collection')). Last year, with the passing of Shuntaro Tanigawa, it was a great achievement to be able to revisit the pinnacle of their collaboration, "Tsuiki." The chamber music performance was recorded by NHK and broadcast on FM in September as part of a special program in memory of Yuasa Joji.

Profile

【TRANSIENT】
TRANSIENT is September 2016. It is a voluntary group formed by Junichi ISHIZUKA, Masamichi KINOSHITA, Masato OUCHI, Yoichi SUGIYAMA, and Ryuta NISHIKAWA in order to gather ideal musicians to perform works that should be listened to today, mainly those of Yoriaki MATSUDAIRA.
In December 2018, he performed Matsudaira's opera "The Provocators" (piano reduction version) for the world premiere. Since then, he has hosted and produced nine performances. Three of his performances were recorded and broadcast on NHK FM, and he has been highly praised.
