100 years since the birth of György Ligeti Lecture & Concert vol. 3



Business Overview
From 2023 (100 years since the birth of György Ligeti) to 2026 (10 years since his death), this project is held once a year to reveal unknown aspects of Ligeti through the memories and testimonies of his students, and to convey to the next generation the message of the composer who lived through the 20 century, a time of war and upheaval. This is the third such project.

Profile
[György Ligeti 100th Anniversary Lecture & Concert Executive Committee]
The organization was established in March 2023 to carry out the "György Ligeti 100th Anniversary Lecture & Concert" series, which will consist of four lectures over a four-year period from 2022, the 100th anniversary of Ligeti's birth, to 2026, the 20th anniversary of Ligeti's death.
Starting in September 2023, the Lecture & Concert Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3 commemorating the 100th anniversary of György Ligeti's birth will be held once a year, and after the performances will be streamed for one week only in October or November.
