Business Overview

The theme of the Ogikubo Music Festival is "The heartfelt performance will spread the touch of the heart and surely make the town better to live in." The Ogikubo Music Festival was started as a part of the town development project to make Ogikubo a place where people would like to live, where they were happy to live, and where they would like to continue living. This year marks the 38 th festival. From the beginning, with the cooperation of Suginami Ward, the Suginami Ward Board of Education, Suginami Public Hall, and the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the project aims to contribute to the development of Ogikubo and to the improvement of local culture by promoting town development not from the hardware side but from the soft side through classical music.

The Ogikubo Music Festival was born as a part of the development of Ogikubo.
The 21 Century Ogikubo Society was established with the aim of making Ogikubo more livable and making proposals.
As part of these activities, the Ogikubo Music Festival was born with the foundation of the Ogikubo Classical Music Town. Through the performance of classical music, they want to pass on the cultural heritage of Ogikubo to the next generation.
