Project Overview

[1st year project overview]
Post-production work was carried out for director Nao Yoshikai's feature film "Masayume" and completed as a 7.1-channel version for international film festivals. The sound was by Masaya Kitada, and the work was done at Toho Studio.
Director Nao Yoshikai starred in the film, and through his training at a Zen temple, he re-examined what it means to eat, sleep, and breathe, and it became a self-documentary that explores the mind and body as a "meat bag" that simply exists there, beyond the consciousness that can be verbalized, with fiction and dance. The choreography for the dance scene is Kaori Seki. Photographed by Kaoru Oda and Nao Yoshikai. After the post-production ended, the first preview was held only for those involved. He also created English subtitles and DCPs for international film festival submissions.
