Business Overview

“Takuboku Kumo wa Tabi no Michizure ” is based on Ishikawa Takuboku's“ The Clouds Are Genius ” and has been performed nationwide since its first performance in 2012, reworking every time.
This year (2025) to commemorate the 390 year anniversary of the founding of the Yuki Theater, after a performance in Asagaya and a tour to local elementary and junior high schools in September, a performance was performed at the studio of the Yuki Theater in Koganei, the home of the theater, with local children recruited from the public.

Yuki Theater is a traditional "Edo Itoa Ayatsuri Doll" theater company that has a history of more than 380 years from the first Magosaburo Yuki's founding in Kanei 2 (1635) of the Edo period to the current 12th Magosaburo Yuki, and is designated as a National Record-Selected Intangible Folk Cultural Property and an Intangible Cultural Property of Tokyo.
At present, based on the manipulation of classics, he performs various performance activities such as newly written performances, Edo sketch performances, collaborations with foreign directors and artists, etc.
